Flood Damage Information

The City of Methuen is working with the Commonwealth and the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) in an effort to have the city authorized to receive disaster assistance from State and Federal government emergency programs for damages caused by the rain and subsequent flooding on August 8, 2023.

One of the key components to qualify for that designation is to present to these agencies a complete accounting of damage to our community. If your home, business or property were affected and damaged during this event, please submit the below form, and make sure you keep good records of your losses and expenses.

AT THIS TIME WE DO NOT KNOW IF THE CITY, RESIDENTS AND/OR BUSINESSES WILL QUALIFY FOR ASSISTANCE. THIS GATHERING OF INFORMATION REPRESENTS A FIRST STEP IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING THAT DETERMINATION.

The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
