SPECIAL NOTICE
The Methuen Police Department is taking part in an intensive
program to identify out-of-state vehicles that are illegally registered.
If you live in Methuen you must register your vehicle in Massachusetts.
Failure to comply with this law could result in towing, fines and
your right to operate in Massachusetts could be suspended.
If you have any questions regarding this notice, or you wish to report a vehicle,

PLEASE BE ADVISED THE CITY OF METHUEN WINTER PARKING BAN GOES INTO EFFECT DECEMBER 1, 2013 AND CONTINUES UNTIL APRIL 1, 2014.
The City of Methuen Traffic Rules and Regulations, Article 5, Section 9 reads as follows: "No person shall allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in his name, other than one acting i2 an emergency, to be parked on any street for a period of time longer than one hour between the hours of 1:00 am and 6:00 am of any day from December 1 of one year to April 1 of the next year."
VEHICLES IN VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE ORDINANCE ARE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF $25.00 AND RISK THEIR VEHICLE BEING TOWED!.
