Mission Statement: The Mission of the Department of Inspectional Services is to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the city's residents and visitors through the enforcement of the State and local laws, bylaws and regulations. The Department of Inspectional Services is a division of the Methuen Department of Economic and Community Development and is under the direct supervision of the Building Commissioner. The Department includes Building/Zoning, Plumbing & Gas and Electrical.
